HD2 LATERAL FILING STORAGE SYSTEMS

Our HD2 Lateral Storage Systems easily provide twice the filing capacity of conventional file cabinets. Lateral is the perfect solution for the office or smaller business that has outgrown its current filing system. Adding a free-standing Lateral Storage System can double or triple your storage capacity.

Carriages are made of a special 6061 structural grade aluminum extrusion with a 5/8" retaining lip and are fully welded in a jig for perfect alignment. Carriages have ball bearing wheels with a capacity of 2000 pounds. The HD2 Modular floors are manufactured so they are reconfigurable, and easily moved or extended with built in anti-tip groove which transport our carriages which contain a built in anti-tip assembly. There is an optionally available platform, which raises the stationary wall shelving to the same height. Trim is provided to cover leveling screws and requires no exposed fasteners.

The HD2 system is extremely versatile and can have hinged or tamber locking doors installed to meet HIPPA requirements. The system can incorporate traditional lateral file cabinets, stack boxes ,bookshelves as well as standard shelving. Examples shown include a filing system where the carriages move to provide access to the back row, commonly known as a bi-file. Another shows two rows of shelving in front of the stationary, commonly known as a tri-fle.
